Have your say

Your feedback will help us to understand the priorities and aspirations of the local community as we bring forward our proposals for a sustainably located, landscape-led neighbourhood of high-quality new homes for Fradley.

Once you have had an opportunity to read an overview of the emerging plans, and view the interactive concept masterplan, please take a moment to complete our feedback questionnaire below.

Please ensure feedback is submitted by midday on Friday 6th December 2024 to ensure that it is taken into account as we prepare to submit a full planning application.

If you would like to be kept updated on the emerging proposals, the subsequent planning application and statutory consultation carried out by Lichfield District Council, as well as progress with the plans, please ensure you select “Opt-in to email updates” at the end of the form.

What kind of homes would you like to see prioritised?

Comments

The new neighbourhood will include a community building. Do you have any suggestions for services or facilities that could be included here?

Comments

Up to 40% of the new homes would be affordable homes, enabling key workers and people on low incomes to secure a home of their own in Fradley. Would you like to see this prioritised for people with local connections through local occupancy criteria?

Comments

Are you, or is someone you know, interested in securing a new home in Fradley?

Comments

We recognise that a low carbon future is an important priority for the community and will ensure that new homes are as sustainable as possible, including potential measures such as air source heatpumps, EV charging infrastructure, PV cells and the latest standards of insulation. Is this important to you?

Comments

Around 50% of the total site area will be set aside as open space, including extensive landscaped public open space, with proposals to deliver more varied habitats and boost the biodiversity value of the site to provide at least 10% biodiversity net gain. Is this a priority for you?

Comments

The proposed development will generate financial contributions for investment into local services. This is determined by the local planning authority. What are your priorities for investment in Fradley and the surrounding area?

Comments

Do you welcome our proposed investments into the wider highways network in Fradley, including proposals to calm traffic speeds on Fradley Lane and provide space for any potential future improvements to the A38 sliproad?
